SRT 1720 Hydrochloride; SRT-1720; SRT 1720; SRT1720; N-[2-[3-(1-Piperazinylmethyl)imidazo[2,1-b]thiazol-6-yl]phenyl]-2-quinoxalinecarboxamide hydrochloride; S1129_Selleck

SRT1720 is an NAD-dependent deacetylase sirtuin-1 (SIRT1) activator (EC50 = 0.16 μM), highly selective for SIRT1 over SIRT2 or SIRT3. Studies in yeast suggest that sirtuins may be involved in epigentic gene silencing and deactylation of proteins that regulate the cell cycle.
