Pyrrolidine Dithiocarbamate
CAS: 5108-96-3
Name:
Pyrrolidine Dithiocarbamate
Other names:
PDTC; Pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate; Pyrrolidinedithiocarbamate; Pyrrolidine-1-carbodithioic acid; 1-Pyrrolidinecarbodithioic acid; apdc
Pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate and its salts, such as ammonium pyrrolidinecarbodithioate, are used for a variety of biochemical applications including metal chelation, induction of G1 phase cell cycle arrest, and preventing induction of nitric oxide synthase. Compound is inhibitor of NF-kappaB (nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells), a protein complex involved in the transcription of DNA [ChEBI].
