1,2,3,4,6-Penta-O-Galloyl-B-D-Glucose
CAS: 14937-32-7
Name:
1,2,3,4,6-Penta-O-Galloyl-B-D-Glucose
Other names:
PGG; Pentagalloylglucose; beta-penta-O-galloyl-glucose
1,2,3,4,6-Penta-O-galloyl-β-D-glucopyranose (PGG) induces apoptosis in DU145 and LNCaP cells. PGG effects downstream products of (FRAP) mTOR. PGG exhibits in vitro growth-inhibiting effect on human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line, SK-HEP-1 cells. 1,2,3,4,6-Penta-O-galloyl-β-D-glucopyranose is an inhibitor of PAI-1.
